We welcome proposals for short courses or tutorials at the 2022 Asian Conference on Computer Vision (ACCV 2022) in Macau. The tutorials will be held on 4th December (Sunday) and 5th December (Monday), prior to the main conference.
We invite all tutorial topics relevant and of general interest to the computer vision community. We encourage tutorials related to deep-learning and non-deep-learning techniques as well as novel topics and newly emerging themes. We think that a good tutorial should be educational. In that sense it should:
Ideally, the tutorial targets an audience that includes graduate or undergraduate students in computer vision, as well as researchers and practitioners from academia and industry who are interested to learn about a new topic. Therefore, a good tutorial should strive to be as self contained as possible.
We anticipate that each tutorial will be half-day, but allow the proposal to justify the need for additional time, e.g., if the topic or tutorial speakers will be able to command significant and widespread interest.
We encourage tutorial proposers to refer to the accepted tutorials in previous ACCVs and other major computer vision conferences (CVPR, ICCV, and ECCV).
Proposals should be in PDF format and should include the following information:
Proposals should be submitted by email to the tutorial co-chairs via accv-2022-tutorial-chairs@googlegroups.com by the deadline. Any questions should also be directed to the same email address.
